More About Us

Maccomb Farm LLC is a small, family-run Farm dedicated to supporting the community with flexible pet sitting options in a beautiful farm setting. We understand that life gets busy, so we offer after-hours pick-up and drop-off services, as well as transportation to and from our location, to accommodate our clients’ needs, including emergency situations.

Thanks to our small-scale operation, we can create an environment similar to your dog’s home. While it may not replace home in your dog’s heart, a consistent schedule at Maccomb Farms similar to yours at home, can help alleviate your dog’s anxiety, offering peace of mind through routine feeding and walks.

As a family-run business, your dog will build a relationship with us only (Corey and Sarah), ensuring familiar interactions throughout each stay, rather than having to adjust to different caregivers daily.

Corey and Sarah both grew up with dogs and welcomed their first Cane Corso (Khan-Eh Core-so), also known as the Italian Mastiff, shortly after getting married. Since then, they’ve expanded their pack and ventured into breeding, gaining valuable experience in working with this challenging breed at all life stages.

Sarah was actively involved in the Cane Corso breed club, collaborating with other owners and rescues to produce a quarterly breed newsletter. She has also competed in AKC Obedience and Rally sports, earning first-place titles that adorn the walls. She has participated in AKC Canine Good Citizen testing, ATTS Temperament Testing, and Volhard Puppy Aptitude Tests, and have attended multiple dog seminars and training classes.

Through their experiences, the Lipscombs have become familiar with many types of dogs—whether for breeding, shows, sports, or as beloved pets. They understand various temperaments, including fearful or reactive dogs. This knowledge enables them to provide exceptional care during your dog’s stay, incorporating fun training routines and engaging walks or jogs. They encourage all potential clients to be open about their dog’s temperament on the questionnaire form to ensure the best level of care.
